Colombian cities, especially MedellÃn, have become a gray city with no space for parks and Green areas.
CAUSES
In MedellÃn there's a lot of urban laws like the decree 351 of 2007, second article; that rule how much green area a building has to give to the city for public space, these laws have been ignored by architects and construction offices.
EFFECTS
- Help the concentration of pollutants.
- Decreases beauty to the city.
- Generates legal problems.

We want to change a gray landscape to a beatiful green city.
In our project, the most important thing is the green area in MedellÃn, our idea is to improve public spaces like parks and buildings with green walls taking like advantage their facades, giving not only a better image for the public space, but also contributes to improve air quality.
The green walls capture emissions of CO2 in the air of MedellÃn and house plants easy maintenance treatment or contributing to clean air and improve the image of the public sector.
The Green Wall will consist of three layers: the first is isolation; the second, for plant growth; and the third irrigation;Each layer has a function; together they allow a perfect base for plant growth and ensure the impermeability of the wall and the surrounding soil, grabbing extra structure that will don't give problems to the building.
